Schweizerische Gesellschaft für Kristallographie

Die Schweizerische Gesellschaft für Kristallographie und ihre Sektion für Kristallwachstum und Materialforschung wurden in Jahr 1968 von Kristallographen, Chemikern, Festkörperphysikern und Mineralogen als gemeinsames Forum für einen wissenschaftlichen interdisziplinären Gedankenautausch gegründet. Sie ist der Schweizerischen Akademie der Naturwissenschaften als wissenschaftliche Fachgesellschaft angegliedert und vertritt die Schweiz in der Internationalen Union für Kristallographie und in der Internationalen Organisation für Kristallzüchtung.

Die Gesellschaft organisiert nationale and internationale Konferenzen und Symposien, Gruppenseminare, gezielte Arbeitstagungen und Einzelvorträge an Hochschulen und in Industrielaboratorien. Auch festigt sie ihre Beziehungen mit Schwestergesellschaften in anderen europäischen Ländern durch gemeinsame Tagungen. Auf persönlichen Ebene sind diese Beziehungen schon dadurch gegeben, dass etwa 10% unserer Mitglieder im Ausland tätig sind.

Der jährliche persönliche Mitgliedsbeitrag für Gesellschaft und Sektion beträgt SFr. 30.- (SFr. 10.- für Studenten, Diplomanden und Doktoranden). Die Mitglieder erhalten neben den Mitteilungen und Einladungen zu den von uns organisierten Veranstaltungen auch Informationen über bevorstehende ausländische Tagungen, Sommerschulen and Seminare. Durch aktive Anregungen können sie die zukünftige Tätigkeit der Gesellschaft mitbestimmen.

Falls Sie unsere Tätigkeit durch Ihre Migliedschaft förden wollen, möchten wir Sie bitten, die Anmeldung auszufüllen. Auch die Statuten des Gesellschaft stehen zur Verfügung.

Société Suisse de Cristallographie

La Société Suisse de Cristallographie et sa Section de Croissance Cristalline et des Matériaux ont été fondées en 1968 par des cristallographes, des chimistes, des physiciens de la matière condensée et des minéralogistes pour servir de forum commun et interdisplinaire dans le cadre duquel peuvent être echangées les idées scientifiques. Elle est rattachée à l' Académie Suisse des Sciences Naturelles en tant que société scientifque spécialisée et représente la Suisse auprès de l'Union Internationale de Cristallographie et de l'Organisation Internationale de Croissance Cristalline.

La Société organise des congrès nationaux et internationaux ainsi que des symposia, séminaires, conférences et journées de travail thématiques dans les universités et les laboratoires de l'industrie. Elle renforce ses relations avec les sociétés soeurs des autres pays européens lors de congrès tenus en communs. Ces contacts sont aussi entretenus de par le fait qu'environ 10% de nos membres exercent leurs activités à l'étranger.

La cotisation annuelle personelle pour la Société et la Section est fixée à Frs 30.- (Frs 10.- pour les étudiants, diplomants et doctorants). En plus des informations et des invitations aux activitiés organisées par notre société, les membres reçoivent également des informations sur les conférences, écoles d'été et séminaires ayant lieu à l'étranger. Par vos propositions, vous pouvez participer activement a l'élaboration des activités futures de la Société.

Swiss Society for Crystallography

The Swiss Society for Crystallography and its section Crystal Growth and Material Research were founded in 1968 by crystallographers, chemists, solid-state physicists and mineralogists as a common forum for interdisciplinary scientific exchange.  It is part of the Swiss Academy of Sciences as a professional society for scientists and represents Switzerland in the International Union of Crystallography (IUCr) and the International Organization for Crystal Growth (IOCG).

The society organizes national and international conferences and symposia, group seminars, focused working meetings and individual seminars at universities and industrial research centers.  It also strengthens its relationship with the corresponding societies in other European countries with joint meetings.  On a personal level, these relationships already exist in that roughly 10% of our members are active in other countries.

The annual personal membership dues for the society and section are SFr. 30.- (SFr. 10.- for undergraduate and graduate students).  Besides announcements and invitations to events organized by the society itself, members receive information about up-coming meetings, summer schools and seminars in other countries.  By active participation, members help determine the future activities of the society.
