European Powder Diffraction Conference

Award

The EPDIC award is assigned at each EPDIC Conference and honours outstanding scientific achievement by young scientists in the field of powder diffraction. The award winner is invited to present a plenary talk at the next European Powder Diffraction Conference. The award has a value of 1,000 Euro and is possible by generous sponsorship of PANalytical B.V. (Almelo, The Netherlands).

The Scientific Program Committee of each EPDIC Conference decides who is the winner. Short proposals containing descriptions of the scientific contributions to be assessed, together with the name of suitable candidates should be addressed to any member of the Scientific Program Committee who is asked to make names public within this committee.

On behalf of the Scientific Program Committee of the EPDIC-10, we are pleased to announce that the winner of EPDIC-10 Award is
Dr. Irene Margiolaki from the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility
We congratulate Irene for this Award that recognizes her significant and pioneering contribution to macromolecular powder diffraction.
